Square mile community of 45,000 is accepting resumes for the position of Director of Public Works. Responsibilities include facilities management, garbage collection and recycling, motor pool, and parks maintenance. Duties also include evaluating staffing and organization and as required recommending changes and updating the Department’s organizational chart and job descriptions. Additional duties include but are not limited to overseeing annual budget preparation and monitoring all operations’ activities. Excellent communication and personnel skills required. Prefer a CPWM with at least four years experience in the development, administration and supervision of Public Works programs, with a minimum of two years of management responsibility. The Borough of Mendham seeks a semi-skilled or skilled individual to work in the Department of Public Works. Full-time position. 

Knowledge of general carpentry, concrete and mason work helpful. The Department performs general duties including snow plowing and removal, tree pruning and chipping, building maintenance and road repair. Good verbal and written skills required.
