College Scholarship

Amount:          $ 2,000

Deadline:        May 15, 2006

Field:                All fields of study

Eligibility:      High School seniors who are college
                           bound or Students in their freshman or
                           sophomore years who are attending a 2
                           or 4 year accredited College or Technical
                           School.

                           Scholarships to be awarded annually.

Requirements

1. Immediate family members must be an active member, in good standing, with the Public Works Association of New Jersey. (Parent, Grandparent, Self, Etc.).
2. Must be a citizen of the United States and resident in the State of New Jersey.
3. Must maintain a Grade Point Average of 2.5 in High School or a GPA of 3.0, in College or Technical School.
4. Submit an essay with application as to the student's present and future goals, how Public Works or other service oriented organizations affected your decision, and how the scholarship money will be used.
5. Submit 2 letters of reference or recommendation.
6. Applicant only eligible to win award twice.
